Fire River Poets – SPRING READING: ‘Poems and Pints’ – Saturday 21st April at 7:30pm
VACANCY: POET WANTED
Fire River Poets, Taunton, has a vacancy for one new member. If you write poetry, and would like feedback on your work from a group of experienced, friendly and supportive poets, please get in touch with us. If you have only just started writing seriously, that is fine, but an interest in reading poetry, including contemporary poetry, is important. We meet about once a month, on a Tuesday, in Hatch Beauchamp.
Fire River Poets hold regular ‘open mic’ evenings, which include readings from invited guest poets. Members are encouraged (but not obliged) to attend these events. You can find out more by visiting our website, www.fireriverpoets.org.uk.
If you are interested, please send five or six of your poems plus any relevant information (e.g. membership of other groups, any publications, own website) to sanchobramble@hotmail.com. Your poems will not be published by us, or shown to anyone outside the group.
